The reason Caprese salad is such a favorite is that in its simplicity, each ingredient really gets to come through brilliantly. This recipe calls for just a handful of ingredients:
Makes: 1 Plate | Preparation Time: 15 minutes
- 450 grams of fresh mozzarella
- Fresh basil
- 700 grams of ripe tomatoes
- Salt and cracked black pepper
- Drizzle La Panza Olive Oil
Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella into rounds and arrange them on a plate.
For every couple of slices of tomato, add one piece of cheese and some fresh basil leaves.
Once the plate is arranged, season everything with fresh ground pepper and salt, then drizzle some olive oil & balsamic over the top.
