OLIVE OIL POACHED SALMON

Gently poached in olive oil with garlic, thyme, and lemon, creating a tender and flavorful dish.

Makes: 4 Servings  |  Preparation Time: 10 minutes 

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup La Panza Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, pour olive oil and add garlic, thyme, and lemon slices. Heat over low heat.
  2. Once the oil is warm (not hot), add the salmon fillets skin-side down.
  3. Poach the salmon in the oil for 15-20 minutes, occasionally spooning oil over the top of the fillets, until the salmon is cooked through.
  4. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
