OLIVE OIL POACHED SALMON
Gently poached in olive oil with garlic, thyme, and lemon, creating a tender and flavorful dish.
Makes: 4 Servings | Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 cup La Panza Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3 garlic cloves, smashed
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a large skillet, pour olive oil and add garlic, thyme, and lemon slices. Heat over low heat.
- Once the oil is warm (not hot), add the salmon fillets skin-side down.
- Poach the salmon in the oil for 15-20 minutes, occasionally spooning oil over the top of the fillets, until the salmon is cooked through.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
