OLIVE OIL JALAPENO MARGARITA

This cocktail recipe is perfect for the summer! Enjoy a splash of extra virgin olive oil in your next margarita!

Ingredients
  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz agave syrup
  • 1/4 oz extra virgin olive oil
  • Jalapeño slices (optional, for spice)
  • Ice
  • Salt or Tajín (for rimming, optional)
  • Lime wedge and jalapeño slice for garnish
Instructions
  1. Rim a glass with salt or Tajín by running a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into the salt or Tajín.
  2. In a shaker, muddle a few slices of jalapeño (adjust to your spice preference).
  3. Add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, agave syrup, and extra virgin olive oil to the shaker.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
  5. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
  6. Garnish with a lime wedge and a slice of jalapeño.
